Chernobyl synopsis

Chernobyl dramatizes the true story of one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history and tells of the brave men and women who sacrificed to save Europe from unimaginable disaster. The miniseries focuses on the heartbreaking scope of the nuclear plant disaster that occurred in Ukraine in April 1986, revealing how and why it happened and telling the shocking, remarkable stories of the heroes who fought and fell.

We expect the same actors to return in the 2nd season might as well. Valery Legasov role will take Jared Harris and Boris Shcherbina will take Stellan Skarsgård. As well as Alan Williams as KGB First Deputy Chairman Charkov, Mark Lewis Jones as Colonel General Pikalov, Lyudmilla Ignatenko will be played by actor Jessie Buckley, Adam Nagaitis (Vasily Ignatenko), Viktor Bryukhanov will be played Con O'Neill, Nikolai Fomin role will be played by actor Adrian Rawlins, Michael McElhatton as Prosecutor Andrei Stepashin and Michail Gorbatchev role will be played David Dencik.

When is the Chernobyl Season 2nd release date?
