After the Season eleventh finale, HBO has informed about plans for its Kongen Befaler season twelfth, starring Olli Wermskog.

Next season will consist of ten total episodes. They will be available live from HBO Video immediately after release. Pilot episode starting in April 9th, 2026. TV Series episodes will premiere every week on Thursdays. Detailed episodes list provided inside table below.

We're waiting exactly similar characters to back in the upcoming season. Olli Wermskog will return as Assistent with Atle Antonsen (Kongen). Along with Bård Ylvisåker (Kongen).

About TV Series

Atle Antonsen takes on the role as the almighty king, with Olli Wermskog as his right hand assistant. In each program he gives absurd and practical assignments and challenges to five comedians, which they will have to solve in the most creative and effective way possible. Dirty tricks and bribes are allowed, and when all is said and done - and all dignity is gone - it's up to Atle Antonsen to decide who is this week's winner.
